[link] and [link]
For the other distros, I didn't tryed yet. But I know that the ubuntu forums have a lot of threads about beryl ( like [link] )
If you can't find tutorial for your distribution or run into some problems, I would recomand searching the forums there is always someone to help over there
Here's some requirements:
- Modern Linux distribution
- Working hardware accelerator with good drivers (I suggest Nvidia with the lastest drivers)
- A Xorg that support AIGLX or XGL ( not essantial if you have a Nvidia card )
- root access on the box you want to install it
Here's some links to official Beryl tutorials
Ubuntu : [link]
SuSE : [link]
Fedora : [link]
Gentoo : [link]

I hope it helps
